Marine Corps. Marathon Accomodations

Well I just called the Expo Headquarters Hotel (Hyatt Regency Washington DC on Capitol Hill) to try and make reservations for our stay during the Marine Corps Marathon.  Turns out you can't make reservations until May 17th which is the day registration for the race opens up.  That's actually good news because I was afraid it might be full already.  They also said you would have to provide a non-refundable prepay of the full amount by September (sorry, I missed the exact date).  That's basically the same thing we did with our stay at Disney, so I guess I'm OK with that.
