Friday Run
Had a rough run Friday afternoon. I waited till 2:00 to try and do a 3x800m interval run. I warmed up for a mile then did my first interval. My watch kept losing signal which really aggrevated me. Plus it was like 88-degress out, I hadn't eaten lunch yet, and I don't think I had drank enough water that morning. Well, since the watch was skipping out on me, my first interval ended up going long (0.57miles) but I did it in 3:32. I was shooting for 3:28 splits. I recovered for 1/4mile then got into the second interval. 0.33 miles and 2:20 later I just decided it was too dang hot and I just didn't have it in me to finish. I ran easily back home for a total of 3.21 miles in 29:24 (9:09pace). I think I'm gonna switch back to just doing one speed workout a week instead of two. At least for the next couple of weeks.
