Wednesday 7 Mile Run

Well I managed to get up this morning and hit the road by 5:35am for a 7 mile run. The weather was nice. Not hot, but not too cool.

I first ran a 4 mile loop that brought me back to the house where I had some water stashed in the mailbox. I tried to do a hard run for the last mile(but I started out too fast and had to take a walk break after only a half mile. But it was still a good hard run with about 0.3 at about a 7:30 pace.

After the first 4 and a little water I turned around and ran an out-and-back 3 mile route behind the college. I picked it up on the way back home and pushed the pace to 8:43 for the last mile.

Again, I can really tell its time for new shoes and I can't wait till my new one get here. They may be here as early as tomorrow. I'm really excited about the purchase. I got a shoe that normally costs $90 for only $65 including shipping! Thanks RnJ Sports!

I've got 4 miles to run in the morning. Hopefully it will be the last run in my old shoes.
